The following people appeared in Cheyenne County District Court on Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2015, before the Honorable Derek Weimer:

Aaron Timmons, age 28 formerly of Sidney, appeared for a status on a charge of Theft. A class III felony. Status hearing continued to Feb. 4 at 9:30 a.m.

Joseph Medina, age 39 of Sidney, appeared for a status hearing on a charge of Possession of Meth. A class IV felony. Status hearing set for Feb. 4 at 9:30 a.m.

Leland Alexander age 52 of Sidney, appeared for sentencingon an amended charge of Attempted Possession of Meth. A class I Misdemeanor. Defendant pled no contest. Judge Weimer ordered a Pre-Sentence Investigation Report. Sentencing scheduled for March 4 at 10:30 a.m.

Jamie Holtz, age 28 of Sidney, appeared for a status hearing on a charge of Distribution of MJ (x2) and Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute. All class III felonies. He pled guilty to an amended information on a charge of Distribution of MJ. A class III felony. Judge ordered a pre-sentence investigation report. Sentencing scheduled for March 4 at 10:30 a.m.

Stephen Barber, age 26 of Sidney, appeared for sentencing on an amended charge of Theft. A class I misdemeanor. Judge Weimer sentenced him to 24 months probation plus 53 days in county jail with 53 days served.
