Leyton's Dani McKay looks for room to dribble in the Lady Warriors' win over Hay Springs.
On the strength of a dominant fourth-quarter performance, the Leyton Lady Warriors erased a third-period deficit to topple Hay Springs 35-25 on home ground Saturday afternoon.
The Warriors advanced their record to 4-5 while the Lady Hawks slipped to 2-6.
Junior Diedra Waite was the only Leyton player to crack double figures with 13 points. Dani McKay and Kaitlyn Berner each had five while Shaela Jenkins and Abbe Draper contributed four apiece.
Leyton trailed the Hawks 19-15 entering the final eight minutes before they exploded for 20 points to win going away.
