The Potter-Dix High boys' basketball team let a close game slip through their fingers in the fourth quarter Tuesday in a 56-42 setback to host Kimball Longhorns.
The Coyotes battled through a 22-19 half and stayed within that three-point margin after 24 minutes, 34-31. The trouble began over the final eight minutes when the Longhorns doubled up Potter-Dix 22-11.
The Coyotes were inserted as the fifth seed in the MAC Tournament which opens up next Tuesday. They will visit No. 4 Garden County in the opening round at 7 p.m.
