The Peetz High School boys’ basketball team traveled to Fleming for a battle for the top spot in the Class 1A North Central on Friday. The host Wildcats found home cooking to their liking in a convincing 67-45 win.
Peetz put itself in trouble from the opening tip when it opened with with a shaky start. The Bulldogs fell into a 38-16 hole after the first 16 minutes. While the Bulldogs played the Wildcats even the rest of the way, the die had already been cast over the first half.
