Leyton's Jenkins signs to play volleyball for McCook C.C.

Leyton High's Shaela Jenkins, No. 3, had 209 kills and 339 digs this past season for the Lady Warriors. She will attend McCook Community College in the fall to play volleyball.
DALTON – Shalea Jenkins, a three-sport standout at Leyton High School, has signed to play volleyball at McCook Community College.
Jenkins, also a two-time qualifier for state track in hurdles and presently the leading rebounder for the Lady Warriors' basketball team, went to a recent tryout at McCook and drew immediate interest from Indians head coach Scott Weston. As she did at Leyton, Jenkins will likely compete as an outside hitter.
