The Creek Valley High boys basketball team snapped its nine-game losing streak with a 37-28 win over the South Platte Blue Knights on Friday in non-district boys basketball action in Big Springs.
Though the Storm (4-12) opened up trailing after the first quarter 11-7, Creek Valley rallied in the second eight minutes to take a 24-18 lead by halftime. The Knights (1-15) managed to trim their deficit to four points after the third, but the Storm added to its winning margin in the fourth quarter.
Brett Godfrey was named player of the game with 14 points, eight rebounds, two assists and a steal....
