'Rounding up' pays off in donation

The Cabela's retail store in Sidney presented a check for $4,100 to the Delta Waterfowl Full Limits Chapter of Mitchell for their youth program "First Hunt" as part of Cabela's Outdoor Fund. The fund has a mission to promote conservation and hunting, fishing, camping, boating and other outdoor sporting and recreational activities. Shoppers at the store have the option to "round up for conservation" when they are checking out. The money at each store is added to the fund, and then allocated back annually as a donation to a local organization.
