Sidney Library celebrates Dr. Seuss' 111th birthday

Local children posed as the Cat in the Hat, Thing One and Thing Two and Horton Hears a Who to celebrate Dr. Seuss' 111th birthday on Monday afternoon.

The Sidney Public Library celebrated Dr. Seuss' (or, Theodor Seuss Geisel's) birthday by making familiar characters come to life for local children.

Dr. Seuss is one of the most well-known and cherished authors of all time. He wrote and illustrated 46 children's book throughout his career, that inspired films, television series, a Broadway musical and a theme park.
