Troopers announce stats from state basketball tourney enforcement

LINCOLN, Neb. – Troopers with the Nebraska State Patrol issued 404 citations and warnings for speeding during high visibility enforcement efforts conducted during the boys’ state basketball tournament from March 12-14.

Troopers also issued citations and warnings for Driving Under Suspension (5), No Proof of Insurance (3), No Seat Belt (20) and Child Restraints (3). Motorist assistance was provided to 35 travelers.
