Melba L. Beck

1922 to 2015

 


Melba L. Beck, 93 of Centennial, Colo., passed away on Friday, March 20 in her home in Holly Creek Retirement Community in Centennial. She was born in Sidney and moved to the Kansas City area with her family in 1965. She was a long-time member of Valley View United Methodist Church in Overland Park, Kan.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dwight Beck. Survivors include two daughters; Rhonda Mizeur of Castle Pines, Colo. and Kristi Turner of Kansas City, Mo., three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and brother; Kenneth Fleming of Omaha.

Services will be at Valley View United Methodist Church, 8412 W. 95th Street Overland Park, KS 66212 at 10 a.m., Friday March 27, 2015. Burial will follow at Leavenworth National Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made in Melba’s name to the Holly Creek Assistance Fund at Christian Living Communities, 7000 E. Belleview Ave. #150, Greenwood Village, Colorado 80111.
