Court Briefs 03-31-15

The following people appeared in Cheyenne County Court on Monday, March 30, 2015, before the Honorable Randin Roland:

Devon Holder, age 26 of Sidney, appeared for presentment and a preliminary hearing on charges of attempted possession of child pornography and child abuse, a class IV felony and class IIIA felony, respectively. He waived his preliminary hearing.

The following people appeared in Cheyenne County District Court on Monday, March 30, 2015, before the Honorable Derek Weimer:

Devon Holder, age 26 of Sidney, appeared for arraignment on charges of attempted possession of child pornography and child abuse, a class IV felony and class IIIA felony, respectively. Pursuant to a plea agreement, he pleaded guilty to child abuse, a class IIIA felony. The judge ordered a pre-sentence investigation. Sentencing is scheduled for May 11 at 10:30 a.m.
