Michael George Hart was born Jan. 19, 1965 in Sidney, to George and Lois (Roos) Hart.

Mike attended Sidney High School where he met his high school sweetheart, Cherie Hazlitt. They married and moved to Phoenix, Ariz. where they had their daughter Felecia Marie Hart. While in Phoenix, Mike took pride in his concrete work that included many custom and intricate jobs. He eventually made his way back to Nebraska and worked in the oil field in Nebraska, Wyoming, Colorado, North and South Dakota which he took great pride in. In his free time he enjoyed fishing wherever he could which stemmed from a childhood filled with fishing trips to Lake McConaughy. When Mike wasn't fishing, he enjoyed following local high school sports and routinely called all his family members to update them on the Sidney Raiders or the Leyton Warriors. He especially enjoyed Nascar racing as well, which was evident by a tattoo of a black # 3 to honor the late Dale Earnhardt Sr. Mike may have looked tough and gruff with his tattoos and long hair, but he would give anyone the shirt off his back. Throughout the years and the many places Mike lived, he eventually came home to Sidney to live out his remaining years close to family.

Mike is survived by his parents, George & Lois Hart of Sidney; his daughter Felecia Hart of Aurora; his brother Douglas (Rita) Hart of Sidney and their children Dan, Amanda, Allyson and Taylor Hart; his sister Kathy (John Eastman) Stevens of Sidney and her children Laraine (Ian) Kopetzke, Sierra Cunningham and Dain (Sarah) Stevens; and a large extended family of aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Roy & Alma Roos and Jacob & Elizabeth Hart.
