The Master Chorale to perform in Sterling

The Master Chorale, under the direction of Don Johnson, with accompanist Mary Smith, will present its 24th Spring Concert on Sunday, May 3rd at 4 p.m. in the auditorium of the Sterling Middle School.

The first half of the concert will be the performance of Robert Ray’s “Gospel Mass,” which sets the words from the Catholic Mass to the rhythm and harmony of African-American music.

After a brief intermission, the second half of the program will include a variety of music.

Tickets for the performance may be purchased at KC’s Music & Electronics, Mega Music, Family Food Market, Das Locken Haus II and from Master Chorale members, or by calling Larry Fetzer at 522-1015. Tickets may also be purchased at the door the day of the performance. Students and children under the age of 12, when accompanied by an adult, are admitted free.
