Great Trash Race keeps Sidney beautiful

More than 300 community members worked together this weekend to pick up trash throughout town in efforts to keep Sidney beautiful.

On May 2, Keep Sidney Beautiful held its annual Great Trash Race. The ten participating teams pitched in to collect as much garbage and recyclables as possible. Teams gathered at Hickory Square in downtown Sidney and then split up to various parts of town in an attempt to be the team to collect the most trash.
