The following people appeared in Cheyenne County Court on Monday, May 11, 2015, before the Honorable Randin Roland:

Margaret Kleich, age 68 of Dalton, appeared for arraignment on a charge of DUI 1st High, a class W misdemeanor. She requested an attorney. Entry of plea set for May 27.

Justin Butts, age 30 of Sidney, appeared for presentment on a charge of possession of methamphetamine, a class IV felony. Preliminary hearing was set for May 26 at 2 p.m.

Ray Maestas II, age 33 of Sidney, appeared for presentment on a charge of DUI 3rd High, a class IIIA felony. Preliminary hearing was set for June 4 at 9:30 a.m.

Brandon Buzzell, age 28 of Sidney, appeared for arraignment on a charge of 3rd degree assault, a class I misdemeanor. He pleaded guilty and received a $250 fine plus court costs.

Richard Tuzicka, age 41 of Sidney, appeared for arraignment on a charge of DUI 1st and child abuse, a class W and I misdemeanor, respectively. Entry of plea set for May 26.

Michael Lohman, age 26 of Akron, Colo., appeared for arraignment on a charge of 3rd degree assault and criminal mischief, both class I misdemeanors. Entry of Plea set for May 26.

Margaret Kleich, age 68 of Dalton, appeared for entry of plea on a charge of DUI 1st High, a class W misdemeanor. She pleaded guilty to DUI 1st regular test, a class W misdemeanor. She received six months probation and a $500 fine.

Kevin Maes, age 22 of Potter, appeared for arraignment on a charge of 3rd degree assault and child abuse, both class I misdemeanors. He requested counsel. Entry of plea set for May 26.

Roman Maes, age 23 of Potter, appeared for a status hearing on a charge of domestic assault, a class I misdemeanor. Pre-conference set for May 26.

The following people appeared in Deuel County District Court on Monday, May 4, 2015, before the Honorable Derek Weimer:

Jason Vogt, age 30, of Chappell, appeared for sentencing on an amended charge of distribution of methamphetamine, a class III felony. He received five years Intensive Supervised Probation and was ordered to attend and successfully complete a long-term, in-patient treatment program, as well as other conditions.

Robert Keuter, age 48 of Brule, did not appear for a status hearing on two charges of distribution of marijuana, both class III felonies. Status hearing was continued to June 1 at 1:30 p.m.

Logan Koetter, age 22 of McCook, appeared for a status hearing on a charge of possession of methamphetamine, a class IV felony. Pursuant to a plea agreement, he pleaded guilty to an amended charge of attempted possession of methamphetamine, a class I misdemeanor. He received one day in jail and 12 months probation.

Dennis Smart-Mead, age 23 of North Platte, appeared for a status hearing on a charge of possession of cocaine with intent and possession of cocaine, a class IC and IV felony, respectively. The state filed an amended complaint for attempted possession of cocaine, a class I misdemeanor because there was insufficient evidence to prove the possession with intent charge. Smart-Mead pled guilty and received 21 days in jail and a $250 fine.

Linzy Swisher, age 20 of Big Springs, appeared for a pre-trial conference on a charge of possession of methamphetamine, a class IV felony. She pleaded guilty to an amended charge of attempted possession of methamphetamine and criminal trespass, class I and II misdemeanors, respectively. The judge ordered a pre-sentence investigation report. Sentencing set for July 6 at 2 p.m.

Kenneth Tranel, age 66 of Big Springs, appeared for a final hearing on a motion to revoke probation on a charge of DUI 4th, a class IIIA felony. The judge ordered a pre-sentence investigation report. Sentencing set for July 6 at 2:30 p.m.
