Sidney grad Rosenbaum qualifies for NCAA Div. II championships

Lucas Rosenbaum, a 2014 graduate of Sidney High School and now a freshman at Missouri S&T University, earned a berth to the NCAA Division II Track & Field Championships to compete in the pole vault last weekend in Allendale, Mich.

Rosenbaum is the Great Lakes Valley Conference Indoor champion and was runner-up at the league's outdoor meet. He established the Red Raiders' school record in the event at 14 feet, 3 inches last season – a mark he has already exceeded by better than two feet.
