Sidney High School's Savanna Rosenbaum high jumped 5 feet, 2 inches to finish in a tie for sixth and earn a medal at the Class B state championships.

OMAHA, Neb. – After reaching the Class B state track meet for the fourth straight season, Sidney High School high jumper Savanna Rosenbaum was hoping to gain one more experience to remember her high school track career by – a state medal.

While Rosenbaum, a senior, accomplished what she set out to do on a tense final jump at 5 feet, 2 inches, the Red Raiders were powered largely by a group of underclassmen who are likely dreaming of greater glory for next year.
