SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. – Jill Behrends of Creek Valley High School was selected as one of the players for the 31st annual West Nebraska All-Star Volleyball Game.
The 13 members of each all-star volleyball team were selected from nominations by their respective high school coach.
The game will be played Saturday, June 13 at Cougar Palace on the campus of Western Nebraska Community College in Scottsbluff at 2 p.m
The West will be led by head coach Jodi Schuller from Chase County High School. Angie Hiemstra from Alliance will be the assistant coach. The East squad will be led by head cpach Katie Helms from Cambridge High School. Lynne Johnson from Brady will assist her.
A portion of the proceeds from the West Nebraska All-Star Games benefit local charities in Scotts Bluff County. In 2014, a total of $5,000 was donated to three local charities.
