Counterfeiting defendant draws 180-day jail term

Sifuentez, 19, of Sidney, was also given credit for 54 days spent in custody after her Jan. 29 arrest.

A plea deal in her case was made in April, when she pleaded no contest to two charges of criminal attempt of possession of forged instruments – class I misdemeanors. She originally faced two felonies for her participation in passing counterfeit money to area businesses last winter.
