Seniors roll to 14-6 victory, Juniors rally for 9-6 win

It's always a big game when the Alliance Spartans come to town. It's also a good way for the young Sidney teams to measure themselves against a quality, district opponent.

Post 17 passed two big tests at Legion Field Tuesday night as it pulled off a junior-senior sweep over its archrivals. The juniors (5-3) opened the action as they battled back from an early deficit to topple the Spartans, 9-6. The seniors (3-6), followed up with a 14-6 win by the mercy rue in five innings.
