Marathon bridge event benefits A.R.C.

Pat Von Seggren received a $600 donation for the Association of Retarded Citizens from the proceeds of the 2014-15 marathon bridge players recently. The money is used to sponsor a dinner and social activities for the A.R.C. members.

The winners were: Dot Treinen and Eva Kalhoff who won group A, while Marge Surber and Lynn Poppen finished second. Cathy Mattoon and Kathy Scripp won group B, with Delores Stasch and Surber taking second.

The pairs will begin playing again in September against a different opponent each month. Scores are cumulative through April.
