'Ride the Ridge' event planned for this weekend

The 24th annual; family friendly “Ride the Ridge” trial ride will be held Saturday, June 20 at Fort Robinson State Park in Harrison.

There will be a variety of choices for riders this year.

The morning ride will start four miles west of the park on Soldier Creek Road at 9 a.m. It will be six miles in length. There will be an afternoon ride at 1 p.m. starting at the mare barns.

Both of those rides are free,

A Trail Challenge activity and a horseback poker run will also be held in the afternoon.
