The local Kiwanis International club awarded $500 scholarships to three recent graduates Thursday afternoon during one of its monthly meetings.
Kiwanis is an international organization with more than 600,000 members. The club and its many communities annually raise more than $100 million and dedicate more than 18 million volunteer hours to strengthen communities and serve children.
