City offices closed for Independence Day

All city of Sidney departments will be closed on Friday and Saturday this week, including the landfill and the library, in remembrance of Independence Day.

The Solid Waste Department will be collecting Thursday’s trash on Wednesday and Friday’s trash on Thursday.

The Dial-a-ride Bus and Stage Line Bus will not be running either day.

Meanwhile, the Sidney fireworks display will start at dusk on Friday. The lighting will take place off of Fort Sidney Road.

The Sidney Sun-Telegraph will not publish Friday and the offices will be closed.
