Potter-Dix Children's Theater gears up for annual production this week

The Potter-Dix Children's Theater will perform its annual musical this week.

The production – held for the eighth consecutive year – serves as a fundraiser for the Potter-Dix Early Learning Facility. The facility includes a day care and a preschool.

There are 24 children, ranging in age from 4 to 13, who will be involved in the production of "The Gold Miner's Daughter" this Friday at 7 p.m. at the Potter American Legion Hall.

A silent auction and barbecue will be held prior to the performance from 5:30-6:45 p.m.

Practice for the students began July 6 and have lasted two hours every week...
