Four 21st Century employees selected for scholarships

FENTON, Mo. – Collin Harvey of Dalton, Brenton Soule, of Harrisburg, Neb.; Javier Rojo of Holyoke, Colo., and Jacob Hazlett, Fort Morgan, Colo., were selected as recipients of the NAEDA Equipment Dealers Foundation Scholarship for the 2015-16 academic year.

Each scholarship totals $2,000, including matching funds from their sponsoring equipment dealership, 21st Century Equipment, headquartered in Sidney.

Soule and Hazlett will be attending Garden City (Kan.) Community College, studying for the John Deere Ag Technology Program in the upcoming school year. Harvey will also be attending Garden City C.C., studying for an Associate Degree in Applied Science.

Rojo will attend Central Community College in Hastings, Neb., studying Ag Diesel Technology.

"We at 21st Century Equipment are very proud of our students," said Jessie Ruiz Jr., a senior recruiting specialist for the company. "Not only are they becoming skilled technicians, but they display leadership qualities that will be a great benefit in the near future."

NAEDA Equipment Dealers Foundation scholarship funds are awarded to assist in the training, re-training or advancement of employees or potential employees of equipment dealers to create a larger pool of qualified, committed, long-term employees for those dealerships.
