William C. "Bill" Jenks, 60 of Sidney, passed away at his home, Tuesday, July 21, 2015.

A Memorial Mass will be at 11 a.m., Friday, July 31, in the St. Patrick's Catholic Church.

Rosary services will be at 6 p.m., Thursday evening, July 30, in St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Graveside Inurnment will take place at a later date.

Friends may stop in the Gehrig-Stitt Chapel on Thursday until 4 p.m. to sign Bill's register book and drop off condolences for the family.

Memorial contributions may be made in Bill's name to Sidney Regional Medical Center Hospice.

William Charles "Bill" Jenks, the son of Jesse Raymond and Patricia (Moore) Jenks Jr., was born on October 14, 1954 in Sidney. He attended the Sidney Public Schools and graduated from Sidney High. Bill worked at the Fox Theatre, Dinklage Feed Yard before working at the local cable company for thirty-five years.He enjoyed cooking, wood working, fishing and was a former Boy Scout and Scout Leader.

Survivors include his wife: Betsy; (1) son: Kris Jenks and special friend Lindsay Landreth; his father: J.R. Jenks; (1) sister: Ruby Chryst; (2) brothers: Ray Jenks and wife Pat and Patrick Jenks all of Sidney; father-in-law: Donald Ray and wife Roberta of Burlington, Mass .; (2) brothers-in-law: Jack Kuhns of Kimball and Gene Kuhns of Greeley; (1) sister-in-law: Jammie Thomas and husband Eldon of Lodgepole and numerous extended family members and friends.

Bill was preceded in death by his son: Billy Ray, his mother: Patricia C. Jenks, his sister: Susan Bruner and his mother-in-law: Helena Kuhns.
