The following people appeared in Cheyenne County District Court on Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2015, before the Honorable Derek C. Weimer:

Brian Heasley, 21 of Waterloo, Iowa, pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana with intent to deliver or distribute, a class III felony. Sentencing was scheduled for Oct. 13 at 10 a.m.

Clint Younger, 33 of Sidney, pleaded guilty today to possession of methamphetamine, a class IV felony. He was sentenced to 47 days in jail, receiving credit for 47 days already served. He was also ordered to pay court costs.

Andre Purrier, 21 of Sidney, appeared for sentencing for attempted possession of methamphetamine, a class I misdemeanor. He was sentenced to serve 31 days in county jail, receiving credit for 31 days already served.

Ronald D. Hopkins, 43 of Sterling, Colo., pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetamine, a class IV felony. Sentencing was scheduled for Aug. 11 at 8:30 a.m.

Theodore Medina, 25 of Sidney appeared for arraignment on additional allegations of probation violation. He denied the allegations. The next hearing was scheduled for Aug. 11 at 8:30 a.m. Medina was sentenced to probation for attempted second-degree assault, a class IV felony, and third-degree assault, a class I misdemeanor, in June 2014.
