Sidney plans Gatorade scrimmages for Friday

Sidney High School will hold its annual Gatorade scrimmages on Friday, Aug. 27.

The evening begins with the Lady Raiders’ volleyball team taking to the Cabela’s Athletic Facility court at 5:30 p.m. After volleyball, the action will move outside to Weymouth Field where the Raiders’ football squad will take to the gridiron for a 7 p.m. start.

As part of the entertainment, the Sidney High School Cheer and Danz teams will be performing. While there is no charge to attend the scrimmages, attendees are asked to donate Gatorade drinks as admission. They’ll be collected for the athletes to...
