A $12,530 grant from the Nebraska Office of Highway Safety (NOHS) helped pay for overtime hours for troopers and communication specialists participating in the special traffic safety initiative.

Colonel Rice said, “No matter the roadway, we all know one fatality is one too many. We encourage all motorists to continue efforts to reduce the potential for serious injury and fatality crashes by wearing their seat belts and voluntarily complying with all traffic safety laws.”
