Lodgepole hosts school reunion

The Lodgepole-Goodview All School reunion was held on Saturday, Sept. 5, at the Lodgepole Community Center with approximately 90 alumni in attendance.

A delicious meal was served by Shawn Kruse, owner of Outlaws Cafe & Catering.

Class display tables were designed by the classes of 1944, 1965, 1966 and 1967, with the class of 1965 winning by popular vote.

Special recognition was given to Velma Gade as the oldest alumnus in attendance and Kelly Huff, the youngest visitor, Marilyn Davison, the alumnus traveling the farthest, Dale Bond, an alumnus of four generations. Past Valedictorians were also recognized.  

A business meeting was called to order by Leonard Suhr, and a treasurer's report was given by Linda Suhr.

Election of officers included president Janet Fos, vice president Dorothy McMillen and secretary/treasurer Susan Block.

Following the business meeting, Jim Brown provided musical entertainment with his harmonica.
