Jon P. LaMore, 60 of Lodgepole, passed away in his home, Friday morning, Sept. 4, 2015.

Graveside memorial services and inurnment will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, Sept. 11 in the Pleasant View Cemetery north of Lodgepole. Cremation has been held. Friends may stop at the Gehrig-Stitt Chapel on Thursday to sign Jon's register book and leave condolences for the family. Jon's wish was that no flowers or plants be donated. Jon Paul LaMore, the son of Tom Lee and Donna Lee (Smith) LaMore was born on Sept. 29, 1954 at Casper, Wyo. and grew up in Carbondale, Colo. He enjoyed skiing, football, basketball and golf. Jon was a master at drywall and a severe critic of others who attempted the art of drywalling. He was handy doing anything with his hands. Jon spent his last 13 year at Walmart in Sidney, where he set an excellent example in his work ethic, making many friends with co-workers and customers alike.

Jon is survived by his wife: Shelley LaMore of Lodgepole; his mother: Donna LaMore of Chappell, (1) daughter: Jennifer Clark and husband Richard of Emmett, ID; (2) sons: Tom Lamore and Brian LaMore and wife Stephanie also of Emmett, ID; step-children: Brittian Frerichs and wife Breanna and Brookelyn Frerichs all of Omaha; (3) grandchildren: Nathan, Jacob and Harlynn; (1) sister: Jan Riley of Chappell and her family Cooper of Chappell, William Inverson, Landon Pettit and husband Kelsey, and Zach and Aidain of Sidney; (1) brother: Joe LaMore and wife Karen and their son Devon of Hanalei, HI; mother-in-law: Karen Dormann of Dalton; sisters-in-law: Sherri Hicks and husband Craig of Mitchell and Sonja Lind and husband Rick of Harrisburg; close friends: Todd, Shelley, Tucker and Kobe Peterson of Lodgepole, and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, friends and co-workers too many to mention by name.

Jon was preceded in death by his father: Tom, infant brother: Thomas and father-in-law: Harlin Dormann.
