Potter-Dix volleyball team sweeps Caliche to improve to 4-1 on year

Potter-Dix High School's Dawson Sharman (No. 8) leaps to block a ball against Caliche (Colo.) on Friday night. Potter-Dix won in three sets. Sharman had six kills in the match and added 13 digs. The Lady Coyotes improved their record to 4-1 on the season with the win.

The Potter-Dix High volleyball team swept past the Caliche (Colo.) Lady Buffaloes on Friday night with a 3-0 win.

The Lady Coyotes upped their season mark to 4-1, while Caliche slipped to 2-4.

Outside hitters Audrey Juelfs and Regyn Hicks were a strong presence at the net as they pounded home nine and eight kills respectively. Dawson Sharman (6) and Anna McLaughlin (5) were also important contributors to the team total of 32 kills.

On the service line, Lanie Thies had 12 attempts without an error, while Alexus Rozelle and Juelfs each had a pair of aces. Thies contributed with 31 set assists...
