Panhandle Senior Ladies' Assoc. wrap up season at Gering course

The Panhandle Senior Ladies Golf Association held their final outing of the year recently at Monument Shadows Golf Course in Gering.

Taking first place and shooting five birdies was the team of Vickie Nemnich, Claudia Benda, Judie Brighton and Margaret Lienemann.

Second place with two birdies went to the team of Dee Vogel, Phyllis Greenwood, Donna Meier and Chris Lapaseotes. Third place with three birdies went to the team of Gina Briggs, Sally Plover, Sylvia Debus and Pat Rogers.

Lynn Schukei, Betty Zeilinger, Donna Engleman and Nancy O’Connell took fourth place and had one birdie. Connie Booth, Londa Maron, Julie Walworth and Laura Hall ended up in fifth place and had two birdies.

The following teams each shot one birdie: Terry Grosz, Karen Koch and Deanna Funk; Myrna Carroll, Sharon Nuss and Bev Lee; Gail Magers, Judy Daum, Jane Holechek and Sharon Havely; and Ellen Ramig, Jill Wozniak, Alene Schilz and Jan Martin.

Terry Espinoza, Vogel, O’Connell, Debus and Brighton had hole outs.

Long drives went to Briggs, Mary Nielsen, Brighton and Havely.

Flag prizes went to Sherri Dobrinski, O’Connell, Maron, Briggs, Lapaseotes, Vogel, Brighton, Grosz and Nielsen.
