Raider boys win title at Ogallala Invite

The Sidney High School boys’ cross country team ran away with the team title at the Ogallala Invite on Thursday at West Wind Golf Club.

Sophomore Mitch Porter paced the Red Raiders with a third-place finish overall. Teammate Ryan Aurich was sixth, while Brenner Keane crossed the line in ninth.

The Sidney girls’ team captured third place.

Chantal Riggs was the Lady Raiders’ top finisher, capturing third overall. The remainder of Sidney’s runners were tightly nunched and all crossed the finish line between places 14 and 24.
