1935 to 2015

Gladys J. Ogle, 80 of Sidney, passed away at Sidney Regional Medical Center Extended Care, Thursday afternoon, Oct. 1, 2015.

Memorial services will be at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 8 in the Church of the Nazarene, with Pastor Gary Ogle officiating.

Inurnment will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made in care of the family for later designation.

Friends may stop at Gehrig-Stitt Chapel Wednesday to sign Gladys' register book and to drop off condolences for the family.

Gladys June Ogle was born June 19, 1935 in Grover, Colo. to William Frederick and Caroline Louise (Hartmann) Hermann.

Gladys grew up on a farm near Carpenter, Wyo. She was united in marriage to William H. Ogle in Pine Bluffs, on October, 4, 1958. They lived on a family farm near Burns until they moved to Sidney in 1965 to raise their family.

Gladys enjoyed family times at Lake McConaughy, she was also an avid bowler back in her younger years. As well as being a homemaker, Gladys really enjoyed the personal relationships as she waitressed in the local cafes, Hogelands, the Chateau and the Country Kettle.

Gladys is survived by (2) sons: Donald Ogle of Sidney, and Robert (Connie) Ogle of Sterling, Colo., (1) daughter: Jean Ogle of Scottsbluff, (1) sister: Carrie Lou of Lubbock, TX, (3) grandchildren and (3) great-grandchildren. Gladys was preceded in death by her parents, husband William in 2004, (2) sisters and (8) brothers.
