Potter-Dix volleyball team rolls to two more victories

The Potter-Dix High School volleyball team continued to cruise through its competition this fall, winning two more matches on Monday evening.

Playing on the road at the Garden County Triangular, the Lady Coyotes defeated the host Eagles 25-15, 25-9 and then dispatched Wallace in the nightcap 25-13, 25-17.

The two wins improved Potter-Dix’s record to 18-2.

Against Garden County, which fell to 2-18, Alex Rozelle had seven kills and teammate Anna McLaughlin added five kills. Regyn Hicks provided seven digs, four kills and a pair of aces. Setter Lanie Thies contributed six digs and doled out 13 assists.

In the victory over Wallace (8-8), Rozelle chipped in seven kills, Hicks had 10 digs and five kills, McLaughlin provided five kills and Thies registered 15 assists, 11 digs and two aces.

The Lady Coyotes are back in action Saturday when they travel to the Minuteman Athletic Conference Tournament being held at Banner County High School.
