Storm survives in five sets to defeat Peetz in volleyball

Payje Misegadis collected 17 kills and teammate Joey Straber added 14 kills to help the Creek Valley volleyball team defeat Peetz in a five-set marathon match on Thursday by scores of 25-19, 22-25, 11-25, 28-26, 17-15.

The Storm improved to 8-8, while Peetz slipped to 2-14.

Mikenna Curlee paced the Bulldogs with 29 kills and 27 digs.

Straber also had 30 digs and three aces and teammate Samantha Schmid dished out 23 assists.

Cami Thompson had 43 assists for Peetz.
