Leila Lehmkuhl Markel, 90 of Boulder, Colo., passed away at Boulder Manor on August 15, 2015. Leila was born and raised in Lodgepole where she graduated from high school. She married Richard D. Markel on June 26, 1945. They lived in Nebraska, Colorado, Texas and Virinia during their married life.
She was preceded in death by her husband, infant son and brother Don. Survivors include sister Betty Schirmer of Hastings, daughter Beverly (Robert) Beehler of Arvada, 2 grandsons, 4 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
