The following people appeared in Cheyenne County District Court on Nov. 10 before the Honorable Derek Weimer:

Daniel Gonzalez, 39, of Sidney, appeared for a status hearing on two counts of possession of methamphetamine, which are both Class IV felonies. Status hearings are continued to 10:30 a.m. on Jan. 13, 2016.

Valente Acosta-Simental, 54, of Sidney, appeared for arraignment on a charge of distribution of methamphetamine, which is a Class II felony. A status hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Dec. 8.

Antonio Flores, 44, of Sidney, appeared for arraignment on a charge of possession of methamphetamine, which is a Class IV felony. He received 366 days incarceration.

Devan Cook, 22, of Sidney, appeared for arraignment on a charge of possession of methamphetamine, which is a Class IV felony. A status hearing is set for 10 a.m. on Dec. 2.

Devan Cook, 22, of Sidney, appeared for arraignment on a charge of distribution of marijuana, which is a Class III felony. A status hearing is set for 10 a.m. on Dec. 2.

Mylissa Pennington, 21, of Sidney, appeared for a status hearing on an amended charge of attempted possession of illegal mushrooms (times two), attempted possession of marijuana over one pound and obstruction, which are all Class I misdemeanors. A PSI was ordered. Sentencing is set for 10:30 a.m. on Dec. 8.

James Daily, 33, of Sidney, appeared for sentencing on an amended charge of attempted escape and third degree assault: fight by mutual consent, which are Class I and II misdemeanors, respectively. He received three months intensive supervised probation.

Anthony Kuhns, 26, of Kimball, appeared for sentencing on an amended charge of three counts of criminal impersonation, which are a Class I misdemeanors. He received 24 months probation.

Jason Cagle, 30, of Sidney, appeared for sentencing on an amended charge of attempted terroristic threats and third degree assault, which are both Class I misdemeanors. Sentencing is continued to 10:30 a.m. on Dec. 2.

Steven Courtney, 27, of Colorado Springs, Colo., appeared on an amended charge of attempted failure to register under the Sex Offender Registration Act, which is a Class I misdemeanor. He received 22 days in jail and 18 months bench probation.

Bert Saxton, 58, of North Platte, appeared via phone for arraignment on a charge of DUI 3rd High, which is a Class IIIA felony. A status hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Jan. 13, 2016.
