You are invited to attend the Annual Cheyenne County Thanksgiving Community Service sponsored by the Cheyenne County Ministerial Association. This year’s theme is “Together We Serve” honoring our community and county law enforcement, fire department, emergency medical field and military personnel. We are proud to link arms with these agencies as “Together We serve” Cheyenne County. This event will take place at First United Methodist Church, 2622 11th Ave., Sidney, at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 22, 2015. We look forward to seeing you there as together we honor these people.

Pairs-N-Half-A-Pair Square Club will have a dance in Kimball in the old 4-H building on the fairgrounds. Dave Guille will be the caller with Don Benish the cuer. Dance from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. with a meal afterward.

Senior Citizens and Friends Dance will be held at the Cheyenne County Community Center on Sunday Nov. 22, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.Music by Ray Mullen. Please note time change.

Tuesday, Nov. 24

The Sidney Public Library will again be offering “Together is Fun” for youth kindergarten through 6th grade. This session will be held Tuesday, Nov. 24 beginning at 4 p.m. and will feature seasonal games and or craft. For more information please call the library at (308) 254-3110. Thanksgiving Day

The 9th Annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner will be a fun filled day of reminiscing with family, friends and old acquaintances. A Thanksgiving dinner with all the trimmings will be served from noon to 2 p.m. This wonderful event will be on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 26. at First United Methodist Church, 2622 11th Ave., Sidney. We encourage everyone to come and enjoy this free event. Bring your whole family and friends. You are welcome to bring your favorite salad, veggie or dessert to share. We do a tremendous amount of work to make this great community event happen each year and it is so rewarding. The West/North Spelling Bee will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 16 at 12:45 p.m. at West Auditorium. This spelling bee will decide the six finalists for the County Bee. For information call Charlotte at (308) 254-4002.
