Leyton Warriors boys' squad take win over Banner County, loss to Hemingford

 


The Leyton Warriors boys’ basketball team took a split at home over the weekend as they defeated Banner County on Friday night and fell in a close game Saturday to Hemingford.

The Warriors are now 3-3 overall, though they are still tied with Creek Valley in D1-12 standings at 2-0.

The Warriors started off with the win against the Wildcats, moving the squad from Harrisburg to 0-5 on the season.

For the Warriors, juniors Skylar Schumacher, Martin Broyer and Teagan Brogren were the leading scorers and offensive engines for the team, putting up eight points each....
