Ella-Mae Goranson’s 24th Annual Free Christmas Dinner will be held at the First United Methodist Church, located at 2622 11th Ave. in Sidney, on Friday, Dec. 25, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. Everyone is welcome. Your side dish, dessert, vegetable or salad would be appreciated. Oshkosh Table of Grace will be at Saint Marks Lutheran Church at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 26.

Sunday, Dec. 27

Senior Citizen and Friends Dance will be held at the Cheyenne County Community Center on Sunday, Dec. 27, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. (Please note time change). Music by Country Rounders. Bring a finger lunch.

A Parkinson’s support group for the Western Nebraska area meets on the first Tuesday of each month, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church, 312 W. 16th St., Alliance. Call Dee Brauninger at (308) 763-1254 with questions or email her at brauninger@bbc.net.

Thursday, Jan. 14

Cancer survivor support group meets every SECOND Thursday, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Dorwart Cancer Care Center. Great topics/food/fellowship. Call Leslie at (308) 250-1113 with questions.

Saturday, Jan. 16

A benefit pancake feed and 5K for Deuel County Sheriff Deputy Mike Hutchinson will be held at the Cheyenne County Fairgrounds. The pancake feed starts at 7 a.m., followed by a 5K walk at 8 and run at 8:15. Hutchinson was shot several times and seriously injured in the line of duty.

Table of Grace, a ministry of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, is a mobile food pantry that distributes food at various locations throughout the area on monthly basis.

2nd Saturday of the month 9 a.m. at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Lodgepole

3rd Thursday of the month – 5 p.m. at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Sidney

4th Saturday of the month

9 a.m. at Prairie West Christian Church in Potter

4th Saturday of the month

9 a.m. at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Oshkosh
