Peetz's Curlee inks with North Platte CC

Mikenna Curlee signed a volleyball scholarship Thursday with North Platte Community College. Mikenna Curlee is happy to have her future mapped out.

The 5-foot-11 Peetz senior inked a volleyball scholarship with North Platte Community College Thursday, and she couldn't be more relieved with that decision.

"It was really a relief to know where I'm going to be at and have things planned out," she said. "I'll get the opportunity to play with several girls from the area who I know and who I've played against, so I'm looking forward to that."

Curlee had a team-high 291 kills for the Lady Bulldogs in 2015, averaging 4.2 kills per set. She also led the team with 183 digs and 29 blocks, whi...
