Sidney wrestlers fall to Bridgeport in dual meet

A short-handed Sidney squad fell in a dual meet at Bridgeport on Thursday night, 39-27.

"For the most part, I thought our kids wrestled hard," Sidney coach John Ganser said. "We were short-handed due to sickness and injuries, and we tried to overcome that. We came close.

"I'll give them credit, I think our kids showed up for each other."

The Raiders picked up wins in five weight categories. Trey Arellano won by fall in 2:31 over Jerardo Castillo in the 106 weight class. In the 120 weight class, Kaden Vowers topped Ramon Dominguez by fall in 1:19. Jack Feddersen also won by fall in the 132 w...
