Creek Valley, Potter-Dix boys drop road games

Creek Valley fell behind early and dropped a 38-28 road contest at Sutherland on Tuesday night.

The Storm (9-7) trailed 12-2 after the first quarter and 23-7 at halftime. Creek Valley rallied in the fourth quarter to cut into the deficit, but ultimately fell.

Brett Godfrey poured in 23 points on 9-of-18 shooting and a free throw to lead the team offensively. Keith Everitt also had five points on the night as the only other Storm player to find the scoring column.

Colin Brott added four rebounds and four steals, while Keith Everitt also pulled down four boards.

Creek Valley returns to play Friday at Garden County.

Pine Bluffs 75, Potter-Dix 22

Potter-Dix fell on the road to Pine Bluffs, Wyo., on Tuesday in a 75-22 defeat.

The Coyotes fell to 6-8 with the loss. Statistics were not available at press time.

Potter-Dix is back in action Saturday with a home contest against Minatare.
