TeamMates honors Security First at appreciation dinner

The TeamMates mentoring program of Sidney held its annual appreciation dinner for its mentors at Buffalo Point earlier this month, at which time the group presented Security First Bank and Security First Insurance with its "Friends of TeamMates" award. The award was given for their continuous support over the years, such as the annual tailgate party held every fall, along with various other projects. Tracy Miller and Clem Schumacher accepted the awards.

Suzanne Hince, the executive director for TeamMates out of Lincoln, was the guest speaker for the evening. The TeamMates mentoring program of Sidney currently has 140 active mentee/mentor matches with more than 30 kids still waiting for a mentor. If you are interested in becoming a mentor, contact Rhonda Douglas at 249-2810 for more information.
