The Potter-Dix girls basketball team kept alive in the playoffs with a win on Tuesday night, while the season ended for both Leyton and Creek Valley.

Potter-Dix 61, Garden County 26

Potter-Dix jumped out to a first quarter lead and rolled to a 51-26 win over Garden County to open the D2-11 subdistrict playoffs on Tuesday night in Gering.

The Lady Coyotes (17-2) went up 18-10 in the first quarter and built a 30-15 halftime advantage. They also outscored the Lady Eagles (2-17) by a 21-11 margin in the second half.
