Leyton wins MAC speech title

Leyton won the 2016 MAC speech title last week in Oshkosh. Leyton High School won the Minuteman Activities Conference speech meet last week, besting eight competitors for the win.

Among other local schools, Potter-Dix finished second and Creek Valley took fifth place.

Leyton's lone first place finish came in the duet acting category, as the team of Katie Higgins and Jessica Houk won the event. Keverett Rusk and Justice Palmer of Potter-Dix finished second, while the team of Keith Everitt and Nash Leef of Creek Valley took third place.
