The Elks Lenten Fish Fry will be held every Friday between Feb. 19 through March 25, from 5:30 to 8 p.m., located at 1040 Jackson St. in Sidney.

Community Good Friday worship service will be held on Friday, March 25, at noon, at Christ Episcopal Church, 1205 10th Ave.

Holy Trinity Lutheran Church

Good Friday worship service will be held on Friday, March 25, at 6:30 p.m., 2305 San Marino Rd.

6:30 a.m. Sunrise Worship Service led by FUSION Youth Group, will be held on Sunday, March 27, at Lodgepole Valley Youth Camp.

Cheyenne County Arts Guild

Oils – Full Day Workshop

will be held on Saturday, March 19, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Light Memorial Presbyterian Church, 1345 Linden (enter through west door).

Sunday, March 20

Senior Citizen and Friends Dance will be held at the Cheyenne County Community Center on Sunday, March 20, from 1 to 4 p.m. Music by Ray Mullen.

Monday, March 21

The Cheyenne County Farm Bureau will hold a candidate forum for District 47 legislative candidates at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, March 21, at Buffalo Point Steakhouse, located at 638 Cabela Dr. in Sidney. Candidates will be present at 1 p.m. for the public to visit with. The forum is free to attend. Candidates are Karl Elmshaeuser of Ogallala, Steve Erdman of Bayard, Dr. Wendall Gaston of Sidney and Peggy Popps of Sidney.

The Sidney Public Library will again be offering the “Together is Fun” program Monday, March 21 at 4 p.m. This program is opened to youth kindergarten through 6th grade and will feature seasonal crafts and or games. The 2016 Dr. Jeff Cook’s Easter Egg Hunt will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2016 with a 10 a.m. Fire Whistle Start. A Parkinson’s support group for the western Nebraska area meets on the first Tuesday of each month, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church, 312 W. 16th St., Alliance. Call Dee Brauninger at (308) 763-1254 with questions or email her at brauninger@bbc.net.
